Interface College was founded in December 1982. The first programs offered were short workshops and seminars on various software applications for micro-computers.

Beginning in late 1983, Interface began offering longer, career training programs. In early 1986, Interface College was accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), a national accrediting organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Today, Interface specializes primarily in three types of training: career training for people seeking a new career in business and information technology; career upgrade training for experienced computer users who want to upgrade or advance their careers; and computer skills training for business people and professionals.

Career training programs are available in: Internet programming, web page design, technical support, computer repair, network administration, data processing, word processing, accounting, office administration, secretarial and business management.

For people who don't want to take an entire training program, there are specific, individual classes available in web page design, A+ certification, and software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and more...

Information technology has made a tremendous change in the work place. The career titles may not be that much different -- but business careers now require strong and increasingly varied computer skills. At Interface College, the curriculum changes constantly to stay on the growing edge of technology.
