S.D.E. Site Design and E-Commerce

Graduates of this program will be positioned to seek careers as web developers, web designers, webmasters, web administrators, and project managers in the IT or Internet fields.

 

Second Semester

Students will create an interactive project web to commercial standard using development tools learned in class.

The goal of this semester is to prepare the student to take the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) exams for Web Communication using Adobe Dreamweaver and Visual Communication using Adobe Photoshop.

Second Semester

Students will work on development teams, to build a real-world commercial web site to client specifications. Students will be required to research and apply concepts not learned in class in an open-ended learning environment. Project Management, Web Marketing, and server-side Web Administration are also part of this semester. The goal of this semester is to prepare the student to take the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) exam for Rich Media Communication using Adobe Flash.
