Technical Training Programs

The technical programs at Interface College address the growing demand for tech-savvy employees trained not only to use a computer, but to tear it apart, set it up, install and configure operating systems and software, set up and maintain networks, and create and maintain web sites.

Interface offers technical programs which allow students to focus on a particular career interest as well as attain well-rounded skill sets and a variety of industry certifications.

 
 

Interface College is currently offering the following four technical programs:

Computer Applications and Technical Support (CATS)
Addresses the high demand for employees able to build, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware and configure software and network settings.

Internet Programming and Technical Support (IPTS)
This program incorporates both "hard" skills in building and maintaining computers with Internet design and programming to produce a well-rounded employee capable of building and providing set-up and technical support of web sites as well as computer hardware.

Network Administration and Technical Support (NATS)
Network Administrators are increasingly in demand. This program provides students with the hardware and software skills to build and configure computers on Windows platforms in preparation for the A+ and MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator) certification.

Network Design, Administration and Security (NDAS)
This program expands your Network Administration skills by familiarizing you with: Linux servers; Cisco routers, switches and hubs; and network security from all angles. Certifications included are Linux+, Security+ and CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate)
